Terrace, semi-detached or detached: how to choose

A plain comparison of the house types at Emily Ville Estate, to help you pick the right home for your family and budget.

Street of terrace homes with carports and front planting

Emily Ville Estate has six house types. Most buyers narrow the choice down with three questions: how much space do you need, how much privacy do you want, and what is your budget?

Detached duplex

The most space and privacy. The 5 bedroom detached duplex stands alone on a 500 sqm plot with a two room BQ. Best for large families or anyone who wants room to grow.

Semi-detached duplex

Shares one wall with a neighbour. The 4 bedroom semi-detached duplex is 340 sqm with a one bedroom BQ, balconies and its own forecourt. A good balance of space and cost.

Terrace

Shares walls on both sides, which keeps the price lower for the same number of bedrooms. The 4 bedroom terrace has a covered carport and a one bedroom BQ.

Flats

One, two or three bedrooms in low-rise blocks with shared grounds. The easiest to maintain, and a common choice for first-time buyers and investors. See the 3, 2 and 1 bedroom flats.
